Paul Costello and John Loughran started collaborating in 2006 with the intention of creating music, which reflects their own experiences, times and culture. Their music is mostly improvised and draws from that Jazz tradition which regards itself as ‘a process rather than a style’.

Three of the tracks on their new Living Music CD were composed and recorded with Indian sitar virtuoso Partha Bose and typify their commitment to working with creative musicians across all musical boundaries. They use a broad range of technologies and instrumental techniques, which enable them to create a range of sounds and dynamics from only two guitars, which is closer to that of a much larger ensemble.
